The Last Call

Jun 24, 2024

So it’s June 24 – which means there is only this week until the end of the 2024 Federated Health Charities’ campaign on the 28th. We have all participated, making pledges, buying lottery tickets, creating and/or attending events; everything in aid of improving the health outlooks of many ailing Ontarians helped by our 21 participating charities.

Campaign Total So Far

Our goal at the beginning of the campaign was $1.6 million – that’s a lot but we knew we could get there. As of the beginning of the last week of the campaign, we have raised $1,343,661. Come on people, we are so close!

  • 2024 Corporate Goal: $1.6-million
  • Total Raised To-Date: $1,343,661
  • Pledges: $1,183,167
  • One-Time: $57,814
  • Lottery: $51,890
  • Events: $50,791

What’s Happening this Week?

The lottery finishes TODAY! Last chance to buy a ticket. Visit federatedhealth.ca or click to buy.

There is still time to make a pledge via WIN for those on the WIN system. That will continue to take pledges until July 7.

At The Wrap on June 28 at 12:30 pm, we will announce the winners’ numbers for the 2024 lottery, and, if we don’t win, we can begin to plan how we will spend our winnings from the 2025 lottery! Join the wrap event here.

Hoping everyone got what they wanted in the many varied auctions that happened. Many ministries had a plethora of great items to bid on and Federated Health also had its first corporate auction which continues until Friday at 1 pm, the official time of the campaign end. We just added 2 new items as well so check it out.

There was also an assortment of special events. From yoga in the park to the ever popular samosa sales. Once again, Verzuz 5, League of Legends was a great success and everyone who attended really enjoyed themselves. Many ministries and provincial agencies had guest speakers from our participating charities. And Federated Health had another first by launching 2 Lunch & Learns featuring OPSers with learned experience. So many who attended were truly touched by the stories shared by their fellow OPSers.

On June 28 at 11:30, we hope to see everyone at The Wrap, the finale event of the campaign where lottery winners are announced, guest speakers provide context, donation totals are revealed. Click here to join the event.

Finally, we need to recognize all the hard working done by so many volunteers to make this happen. They are truly the lifeforce of the campaign and it’s a pleasure to work beside so many amazing people.
