The final numbers are in, and Federated Health Charities is thrilled to announce that our 2023 campaign met our campaign goal of raising $1.6 million.
These funds will help our 21 charities provide programs and services that support people living with serious illness or life-changing health conditions; fund ground-breaking research into better treatments and cures; and deliver health awareness and education that empowers Ontarians to lead healthier lives.
We knew going into this campaign, our 40th, that inflation and the rising cost of living would make 2023 a difficult year for fundraising, but once again, Ontario’s public servants in the OPS, the OPP, and provincial agencies rose to the challenge. In the 40 years that Federated Health Charities have been running this campaign, you’ve never once let us down, coming out each year in workplaces all across Ontario to volunteer, hold and attend fundraisers, and donate both your time and your money so generously.
At Federated Health Charities, we are so profoundly grateful for and proud of the work of our volunteers throughout all 42 provincial ministries, agencies, and the OPP who are the heart of this campaign. Our annual campaign would not be possible without the support we receive from OPS senior leadership and the hard work of our volunteers, from campaign executive teams to the people who contribute to bake sales, put up posters, and sell lottery tickets, who donate their time on top of their regular duties as public servants to organize and run our campaign. Thank you for everything.
Finally, thank you to all our donors and supporters. By giving to Federated Health Charities, you are making a difference in the lives of millions of your fellow Ontarians.
We couldn’t have done it without you.
