We often hear about the large-scale initiatives of health charities—the groundbreaking research, the vital services, the impactful programs. But sometimes, these efforts can feel distant and impersonal. We forget about the individuals—the real people—whose lives are touched by these charities.
On April 16th, we invite you to connect with two OPS colleagues at the Federated Health Charities Lunch & Learn. This is your chance to hear their powerful stories firsthand.
Meet Michael Jacoby, Senior Policy Advisor, Ontario Ministry of Transportation who will discuss his unique experience living with diabetes. His story highlights the daily realities and triumphs of managing a chronic condition, providing valuable insights and inspiration.
Meet Susan Picarello, Assistant Deputy Minister, Emergency Health Services Division, Ministry of Health who will share her personal journey with Cerebral Palsy and how her family has been affected by a spinal cord injury. Her story is one of resilience and hope, offering a unique perspective on living with and overcoming health challenges.
