Wow – 2026 is here, and we’re about to make history! This year, Ontario Public Service employees will cross an incredible milestone: raising over $60 million for health charities since we started.
Let that sink in – $60 million! And every single dollar came from people like you. People who care. People who want to make life better for others. That’s the heart of Federated Health Charities.
Right now, we’re sitting at over $59 million raised, and in 2025 alone, you helped us raise $1,754,132! That’s the kind of momentum that makes this milestone possible.
It all began in 1983 with a few OPS employees passing the hat for the Canadian Cancer Society. One small act of kindness sparked a movement that’s been growing for more than 40 years. Here we are today. On the cusp of $60 million strong.
And it’s not just about the number. It’s about faces and stories – the families who found hope during the hardest times, the research breakthroughs that changed lives, and the comfort you’ve given to people living with chronic illness. That’s what this milestone really means.
And we’re not stopping here. Our 2026 campaign is all about celebrating YOU – the incredible OPS community that makes this possible. Big things are coming this spring, and we can’t wait to share them with you!
