The annual Federated Health Charities campaign is one of Canada’s most successful and longest-running workplace giving campaigns. Thanks to the generosity, hard work and dedication of Ontario’s public servants, we have raised more than $56 million to support our charities over the last 41 years. The tireless work of dedicated team of volunteers ensure that each year is as successful as the last. Federated Health Charities is immensely grateful to everyone who have given their time, skills and money over the years to make our annual campaign a success.
The campaign kicked-off on April 1 and throughout April and May we will be focusing on promoting payroll pledges as they are the most popular way to get involved in the campaign. We will also be selling lottery tickets! Click on the link and click on buy a lottery ticket for more details.
Then in June we will be rolling into the fun & games portion of the campaign where we will be holding four corporate events that all are welcome to participate in. There is something happening every week throughout June, so check out the details below.
Your ministry or agency will also be holding their own campaign activities throughout this time, so keep your eyes peeled for those details as well. There are lots of ways to get involved!

Federated Health Charities Lunch and Learns
This year, for the first time, we are offering 2 online Lunch and Learn sessions in June, with members of the OPS who have lived experience with one of the illnesses that our charities support. As we get closer to June, more details will be available as well as how to participate.
Verzuz
Once again, Federated Health is supporting Verzuz, The Sound of Giving song-vs-song musical challenge which will happen on June 12. This is the fifth annual Verzuz contest. Last year’s winner (ADM Michell Gittens (MCM) a.k.a “MC Ice w/ Mass Appeal) versus three other senior staff will engage in an online song-vs-song challenge for the ages while raising funds and awareness for our annual charitable campaign.
So mark your calendars and set your alarms for an unforgettable event filled with music, laughter and giving on Wednesday, June 12 from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. Suggested donation is $5.00.
The Wrap-Up!
On June 28, we will be having a big campaign wrap-up where we will announce the winning lottery numbers, have some speakers, and have a special wrap-up event. Stay tuned for details. This is online so we can all participate.
