It’s Go Go Go for the Federated Health Charities’ Spring Campaign

Health Charities Spring Campaign Ontario

Federated Health Charities is immensely grateful to Ontario’s public servants who have given their time, skills and money over the last 40+ years to make our annual campaign a success. Your hard work has helped make a difference in the lives of hundreds of thousands of people and families across Ontario from providing people who have spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities with equipment to enhance their independence to helping fund research for ALS which has no cure and is becoming more prevalent in people under 60, and so much more. This is a legacy that all provincial employees should take pride in, whether 2024 is your first campaign or your 21st.

The Federated Health Charities campaign kicked off on Monday, April 1, 2024. Provincial employees can participate in our campaign in two ways:

  1. by volunteering to help fundraise as part of their ministry, agency or OPP campaign.  To take part in your local campaign, you can find a list of campaign chairs for 2024 posted on our website: Current Campaign Chairs.
  2. by donating in any or all of five ways: payroll pledgesone-time donations, submitting a pledge form, participating in special events organized by your ministry, agency or OPP campaign, and buying tickets for the Federated Health Charities lottery.

If you are a provincial employee and you can’t find a contact person for your organization or you represent a crown agency that would like to join the Federated Health Charities campaign, please contact our Executive Director, Sarah Wood.

Payroll Pledges

Payroll pledges are the easiest, most efficient, and impactful way to donate.  With a few easy clicks and a few dollars off each pay cheque, you can make a significant difference.  You can sign-up for a payroll pledge through WIN or by completing a pledge form.

Special Events

Special events will be happening all across the OPS, the OPP and participating agencies over the next few months. Keep an eye out for communications in your area about fun events you can get involved in.

The Lottery

Lottery tickets went on sale through our website  on April 1, 2024, and end June 24, 2024. Once again, only 25,000 tickets are available for a chance to win one of five cash prizes, including a $15,000 grand prize, so buy your tickets early before they sell out. The more you buy, the better your chances! Unfortunately, lottery ticket sales are only open to provincial employees in participating OPS ministries, agencies and the OPP but if you are a member of the public who would like to support Federated Health Charities and our mission to improve the health and well-being of Ontarians, you can donate.
