What is Osteoporosis? Early Signs, Prevention, and Treatment for Women’s Bone Health

Her work, alongside Osteoporosis Canada, is essential in raising awareness about osteoporosis as a disease rather than a natural part of aging. Tracie Napoli, Director of Fund Development at Osteoporosis Canada, emphasizes the importance of understanding this condition: “You can’t see it happening. You can’t feel it. And something as simple as a sneeze can shatter your bones.”

Napoli wants everyone to understand one thing: “Osteoporosis is a disease”. Whether you’ve been diagnosed or are at risk, Osteoporosis Canada is your trusted source for information, resources and support.

Fueled by a passion to cultivate and mentor the next generation of researchers the work of Dr. Cheung and Osteoporosis Canada is more important than ever. Since its partnership with Federated Health Charities in 1992, Osteoporosis Canada has been a vital resource for education, support, and research funding. Donations play a crucial role in these efforts, helping to improve awareness and treatment options for those affected by osteoporosis. To support this important cause, consider donating to Osteoporosis Canada today…it’s one of the 21 charities your donations support.
